Electroplate Sludge Drying

Electroplating sludge mainly comes from industrial electroplate factories. Through liquid phase chemical treatment, solid sludge wastes will be produced. Owing to different production process and disposal process, chemical constitutes in electroplating sludge are very complex, like chrome, iron, nickel, copper, zinc and other heavy metals.

Present development situation of electroplating sludge drying system
   Heat disposal process of electroplating sludge is deep oxidation and fusion process. Through thermal disposal, partial toxic ingredients in electroplating sludge can be reduced. At present, most widely applied method is incineration which can reduce the volume and pollution of electroplating sludge. Recently, some scholars have done wide research on recycling of incineration residues. But, owing to high energy consumption, it has certain request on incineration equipment. Generally, small sized electroplate factories cannot afford this high investment cost. Therefore, it is difficult to popularize incineration method.
